  • ICD Replacement Yesterday

Alan had his Guidant 1861 replaced yesterday with a Medtronic device. The surgery went well and he is home and resting - a little sore - but doing just fine.

We even had a letter in the mailbox when we got home that my insurance company has reversed their previous 2 denials and will pay for the surgery.

On a side non-HCM note, please pray for my father. He is eighty-four and dying from complications of pneumonia. Thanks for all of your support always.

                    Thanks All-

The thoughts and prayers are really keeping us going. Dad is still hanging on but the doctors aren't too hopeful.

Alan is feeling much better every day.

                    Thanks again-

                    Ange

Give Alan a hug for me. I remember both of you from the meeting last year. I'm glad he's better.

I hope that your father isn't suffering. I imagine it's harder on you than it is on him. My prayers are still with you.
