  • Ozonator and ICD

Does anyone know whether ozonators are supposed to interfere with ICD's? These are devices that produce ozone to oxidize bacteria and other microorganisms for cleaning purposes. We learned this week that we were supposed to request our water dispenser company to clean our dispenser every two months. They came yesterday and used an ozonator. It seemed to cause a very strange feeling in my heart. It could have been the ozone itself, I suppose, since it oxidizes lung tissue, but it seemed to be located at the ICD site, so I wondered whether ozonators were known to interfere with ICD's. It could also be that the shielding here is deficient so there was significant EMF or RF.

Anyone know? This could be important since in the US ozonators are used by most hotels to clean the air in the rooms, especially to remove smoke odors.

A very good question. Sounds like something must have been happening , as when I had the hyphercator and felt it too.

Can you E-mail a rep at your devise company and ask this question . I find that they are great at getting back to me. I would like to know also.
