ive heard that some rides directly can interfere with the ICD. Im only 16 and my freinds and I are planning to go down to a park in a couple days before school starts. The park is Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia,CA and i was curious to know if anybody knows specific informatrion about rides in that park, or a way where I could find out the necessary info?

ps-any info is more than what i have, so it will help

Others will respond here but I believe one of the biggest concerns is the very large magnets on some of the coasters. You can check with the park in regards to this and you can e-mail someone at the company that made your devise. That is what i always do now, after having a problem at a dermatologists office. Also check with your EP doc. For some of us with Hcm the adrenalin rush with regards to some rides is a bit too much for our hearts. I really miss those days and the thrill, I'd go back 25 years to just do it all over again.

    Good Luck and have FUN,FUN,FUN.

Was your doctor an electrophysiologist who puts in devises? If he or she is , well i am confused too. If not well therein lies your answer. He or she DON'T know what they are talking about. Sorry , I have learned the hard way as i hope you do not.

I would still contact the company who makes the devise , they usually have an e-mail system so that you can contact them . They are good at getting back . Things change so they as the manufacturers would know best. i got mine in 2001 i am not sure they change that much, but anything is possible. I think others will post for this. You aren't going tomorrow are you?
