  • Riding motorcycle with ICD

I had an ICD put in recently. My cardiologist suggested it after some rhythm issues from a reaction to antibiotic medication. He said it was a slow rate VT, it was basically multi PVC’s in a row not what I know as VT. I do have PVC’s through out the day but that is the only issue I really have. I’m currently in the recovery month after insertion and waiting for all clear to resume normalcy. I enjoy riding a motorcycle and doing short trips with my wife, she has her own bike. Does anyone else ride with an ICD? Really would hate to give up something we both enjoy doing. We stay off highways and enjoy riding the backroads, it’s about the journey.
