  • How do you feel the following days after ICD shock?

Can some one share how did you feel after an ICD shick? I feel weak and very tired. I also have a bad cough and a cold and I am suffering of heart failure too on top of the HCM. I was shocked before yesterday with atrial fibrilation and a heart beat of 231 per minute. I wonder if feeling weak after a schock is normal or it also has to do with everything together. Any one please, can you share how it was for you the next days after an ICD shock! Thank you sooo much!

Welcome Yatrita....I see you are from the Netherlands....I cannot answer your question directly about how it feels....I hope others will chime in ....I did want to say that following a shock, and with your other medical problems a complete cardiac check up would certainly be in order. Afib, heart failure, pneumonia, HCM all interacting in crisis need an astute medical evaluation for possible changes in medications or more.
