      Sarah,

Do you know that I even talked to the President of this company over the phone when I was making my decision whether or not to get the ICD. It turns out he is a friend of a friend. I can't seem to make the link work right now, so I can't see exactly what this press release says, but he told me that FDA approval for all of this stuff was years away, and that there was some type of less powerful MRI machine that would probably be good enough for a brain MRI if I needed one now, even with the ICD.

Anyway, I hope they get all of this technology working. Of course, now that I have a regular ICD, I am not in a big hurry to have a lead extraction and re-implantation, but this same company is also working on shield technology.

There is hope for all of us bionic people!

This is years and years away from reality.. PLEASE do not use this information to detirmine what type of device you are going to get. The FDA takes many years to review such information.
This is our future....not our today... and we must live in today.
