  • Husband Getting His ICD This Friday

Just an update that my husband will be getting his ICD implanted this Friday on May 2nd. He will then be off of work for 1 week, and then will have modified light duty at his work for the next three weeks, or until he is cleared by this doctor.

We wish him good luck and a fast recovery. I'm sure you will be relieved to know that he will be carrying around a potential lifesaver. And it sounds like his employer made some accommodation. I'll bet as well that his co-workers will get his back bigtime.

I'll second Angus' comment. It'll be a good thing for him to have this protection!
