    Talk to your doctor, you should not have that much pain. It should be evaluated to detirmine the cause of the pain.

    I've heard others describe this pain before, but I don't think it's ICD related. I think it's more HCM related. No, you aren't alone. You might want to let your doctor know about it and see what he has to say.

    Am I alone.

    Just wondering if this is normal. Whenever I have a very physical day at work or home by late afternoon I have these awful pains in my upper left shoulder and neck, with the jaw sometimes involved. Is this normal after having a ICD implanted ( almost four months ago )? Thanks, Janis
