  • Quick Question

    Hi, everyone,
Just a quick question. I'm buying a new home phone- corded base with a cordless extension. I've never had any interference with my defibrillator before, but I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with any specific brands or bandwidths?
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Quick Question

I am glad you brought this up because I have just recently been looking for a new landline phone and would like some suggestions too. I currently have an older Panasonic 5.8ghz and it doesn't interfere with anything. Have been looking at their DECT 6.0 phones, but may just stick to the 5.8ghz.

Just a note, my Mom just had her at home ICD monitor put in and it now interferes with her internet, whereas my Dad's doesn't. Odd how somethings interfere and somethings don't.

    Be well, Janet

      Re: Quick Question

I have a Panasonic 6.0. It doesn't interfere with my ICD or my transmitter. I've never even considered that it might!

        Re: Quick Question

My cordless phone is a V-Tech DECT 6.0. No interference with my icd or anything else. I talk on it using my right ear so it's further away from my icd. It's a good phone although they no longer put speakerphone on their average models.
